Isabella’s Styled Maine Shoot

There are no words for how much I loved photographing Isabella. I planned this entire shoot with her in mind. You know how, at times, things just work out, and you have no idea how you pulled it off? This was one of those occasions. Between me and a handful of old high school girlfriends, we made this come together. Every single thing represented in these images has personal meaning to me. From the location, to the umbrella, to the vintage quilt. The beautiful clothing was loaned to us by my friend, Danielle, who owns a fabulous clothing boutique in Bar Harbor called  Macey’s. The fun red VW Bug was generously offered by a girl who I had never met until the moment she simply handed me the keys and asked “Could I drive a stick shift?” (This would only happen in Maine and that’s one of the many reasons why I love the Island) I said a little prayer and away I went, and proudly never stalled out once. I am already planning this summer’s shoot with Isabella. It is sure to be something creative, fun and just as memorable. XO
